Alright - another debate to be held here... "Injured Reserve" in the NFL is for players who are unable to play any more during the regular season, usually because of injury. As per NFL rules: "It is used because the rules of these leagues allow for only a certain numbers of players on each team's roster. Designating a player as "Injured/Reserve" frees up a new spot, enabling the team to add a new player during the injured athlete's convalescence."
So this should be the same for the UFFL. If you lose a player to injury through the end of the season, GMs should get another place on the roster to sign a new player without having to release someone. However, this should be held strictly to only injury-related issues and less reserve-related issues (unless a really thought-out back story is written).
YAY or NEIGH? Let me know
