Needless to say after the previous story broke, there were to be some consequences. Upon returning to his girlfriend’s residence with her mother after their evening together, one Jackie Knight wasn’t too pleased and demanded answers which Kova had trouble giving her, leaving him in the doghouse for the night and with the Pro Bowl just around the corner, both have made their way to the Bahamas where they currently are staying in separate rooms.
On the other side of the family, Texas Ramblers GM Jack Knight is having some relationship troubles of his own. After an up and down season for him and his ursine companion, Chicago Outlaws’ rookie kicker, Thalia Perez, Thalia felt her performance had garnered at least a mention on the Pro Bowl ballot but the committee felt otherwise and Perez reluctantly conceded , not wanting to cause any drama for herself or her team. She however thought that her boyfriend was gonna help make her case as to giving her a chance to play in such a prestigious game but the thought never seemed to cross the GM’s mind, leaving Thalia to feel scorned and neglected as she has since moved out of the home she shared with Jack and went to the Bahamas with her friends Kova and Jackie, garnering their support as she tries to enjoy a much needed vacation.
And what of the Knight sibling’s mother? Surely she would have some part in her children’s current struggles. She began by sitting her daughter down and having a heart to heart with her seemingly about the evening in question, where Jackie got very upset and it seems nothing was resolved for the moment. As for her son, Mrs. Knight spoke to Jack and the young GM looked to have gotten a bit emotional during the talk as well. At the time of this reporter typing this out, none of the relationships between the Knights and their romantic interests have been fixed but hopefully this isn’t the end for two sets of UFFL sweethearts.
