Hey gang, KZ here.
As I've been doing work for the UFFL, I've realized that with my college schedule, it's damn near impossible for me to be able to crank out the amount of artwork necessary to establish the universe by myself if I have to produce fully finished works. (This is mostly because of school homework, independent work, Podcast work, etc.,)
Most of the time I spend with the artwork revolves around the coloring and texturing stage. To produce artworks like THSE
It requires almost half the day. (5-8 hours) 1-2 hours for sketching, 1-2 for inking, 2-5 hours for coloring. (I'm aware it's a slow work rate, that's why I'm hoping this college corrects that.) But obviously most of the artwork is spent in the coloring stage, and given how much time it takes, I wouldn't be able to produce enough artwork by the end of the season.
SO in my recent Drawing spazz where I drew a bunch of UFFL players, I came up with an idea that'd get much more content out AND lessen the work load on my end (It's a win-win) If I were to post Inked Sketches on this website, who would be interested in coloring them, even if you wanted to just do flats? It'd help me out a lot. (I'm not sure how PAC does it with her work rate, but I'll just admit I'm not at her skill level yet....damn College graduates, all professional and stuff...)
With this plan I'll be able to draw ALOT more content, more people can get involved, AND the finished work would still look good. If anyones interested in my Comic Coloring Style it mostly revolves around the Hi-Fi coloring style mixed with Underground Comics. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUllhU2WoCk But there's plenty of other tutorials out there too if you want to be a colorist. (Surprisingly there IS a market for that)
PLEASE let me know if your interested! The more colorists the better!
