Hey gang,
KZ here, back from Furry Migration in Minnesota with a bit of news I learned while attending the Podcast Panel they held. For one; I realized what I was doing all wrong and am looking into getting an ACTUAL mic to record with, and two, I have learned that the first 4 podcasts up may be subject to removal by copyright claims when our league becomes bigger in the future. It's my fault, I use instrumentals of actual songs as background music and if a representative were to stumble upon our site and discover we were making ANY profit whatsoever, we'd get a cease and desist letter.
THAT being said, Podcasts from hence forth will use copyright free music. (Though I do still want to use the Kanye West instrumental as my intro and outro)
As of now, our biggest goal should be getting AS MUCH content out there as possible as the season progresses, be it stories, artwork, comics, animations, newsletters, journals, tweets, photos, videos, posts, ANYTHING (ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME). We should begin looking into getting our own domain name so people can easily find us. (Plus it looks more professional as well) This way we'll have no problem advertising the league and informing people what it's all about come next year and viewers will be able to easily view the content.

WHEN WILL WE BE POPUFUR!?
To any who are questioning or are frustrated with the league's current size, I'd say that we have to remember it's our VERY first year (Of many to come) so it'll mainly be just us until the next season. It's not that the league isn't sparking interest (The mere MENTION of the United Furry Football League perked up ears and got people interested at Furry Migration.) it's mainly due to the fact that's it's new and not alot of people know of its existence. THAT will come with advertising on FA, FBA, Youtube, Weasyl, SoFurry, Inkbunny, Furry Radio Shows, Facebook, Twitter, (etc.,) Which we will inevitably have to do to attract attention for future drafts. Depending on how we move next year's draft MAY have a rough patch but the following year will DEFINITELY be our best yet. In order to get this league to become a brand name, it will take time and a lot of effort, that's for sure. As of now, our biggest goal should be getting AS MUCH content out there as possible as the season progresses, be it stories, artwork, comics, animations, newsletters, journals, tweets, photos, videos, posts, ANYTHING (ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME).
