Hey guys,
So the Practice Squad (in the simulator) consists of 5 open slots where we can fill extra players who are not starting. On the Wiki, you can see this at the bottom of your team's page. This seemed cool to us admins because it was realistic and allowed for more players than the starting roster allowed.
However, after one week of football, its already evident that this is used more like a "bank" where we bench the players who are not starting, rather than use it as an actual practice squad.
If its kosher with all of you, we would probably stop referring to this as the "Practice Squad", and instead use it as the "Bench" - so that it makes more sense with how its going to be used in future weeks. If a player gets injured, they sit on the bench - not take a stroll through practice squad until they're healthy again.
Let me know your thoughts!

I guess I would say bring back the practice squad at the second season if you want to go that route. That way we should be able to have more rookies coming in and then use the practice squad as intended as well as have an area for benched players. Now, with the practice squad players being free agents as stated by wiki, would they be allowed to join other teams if the desire is there?

Yes, I agree. The majority of our league right now are veteran players, which makes things less appealing to expanding the size of the roster, and thus, using a practice squad as intended.
Practice Squad players (in theory) *could* move between teams, but again, the desire SHOULDN'T be there this first season, since nobody on practice squad is a player created by anyone in the community - nor would anyone want to lose those players if they need them to replace injuries.
